2027 Band Line Up TEXAS Rockabilly Bash

CM Wolf and the Backbones

CM WOLF AND THE BACKBONES
Chris Moinichen is best known as the dynamic frontman of The Delta Bombers, a rockabilly and blues band formed in 2008. With his powerful voice and energetic stage presence, Moinichen helped The Delta Bombers gain a loyal following, blending classic American roots music with modern rock influences. Their unique style and relentless touring brought them international recognition, making Moinichen a prominent figure in the rockabilly revival scene. His raw, soulful vocals and passion for storytelling through music defined much of the band's identity.

In recent years, Moinichen has evolved his musical journey as the lead singer of a new project, CM Wolf and the BackBones. This project takes a more experimental and genre-crossing approach, incorporating elements of blues, rock, and country, while still keeping a raw edge. Moinichen’s ability to reinvent himself while maintaining his authentic sound has made CM Wolf and the BackBones a fresh and exciting development in his career.

Screamin Rebel Angels

Screamin’ Rebel Angels’ unrelenting and hi-octane original music reimagines the legacy of rock ‘n roll, rockabilly, and rhythm ‘n blues into a contemporary sound. Their thrilling live performances are packed with primal passion and authenticity. The sound is unapologetically their own, and they take their audiences on an exhilarating adventure into an untamed world of dangerous women, broken hearts, courage and conviction.

Leading the band is Laura Palmer, a versatile multi-instrumentalist, song-writer, and producer. Equally adept at slapping out the rhythm on an upright bass or picking on a big ol’ Gretsch, Laura Palmer’s on stage presence and powerful vocals have garnered international attention and acclaim, including earning the 2020 Ameripolitan Award “Rockabilly Female of the Year.”

The Rocketz

THE ROCKETZ

Hail from Los Angeles, CA and blend rockabilly with rock and roll, their sound uniquely identified by the fluid, Gretsch guitar tones and throaty, grainy vocals of front man, Tony “Slash” Red-Horse. Always animated, always passionate, Tony guides the audience on a rollercoaster of emotions about life, love and heartbreak. This power trio sometimes morphs into a four-piece adding either a 2nd guitarist or a sax player or you might be lucky enough to catch the show where he spots a fellow artist in the crowd and simply hands his Gretsch off and proceeds to free style with the band. This is rock and roll at its best! The Rocketz are sustained by the live performance that their studio recordings do not, can not capture. Their magic is personal and intimate and sometimes, tastefully desperate!

Henhouse Stranglers

The Henhouse Stranglers are a Texas-based psychobilly and neorockabilly band. Known for their high-energy, horror-infused "Texas psychobilly" sound, they feature Madd Lane on vocals, Sama on upright bass, and of_riff_and_man on guitar. They have become a staple in the Southwest's underground music and Kustom Kulture scenes, regularly touring with bands like The Rezurex and Hotrod Hillbillies at venues such as Dallas' Reno's Chop Shop and San Antonio's The Mix

Krank Daddies

Chops McClintock's vision of the band started years and years ago, all the way back in the year 2000; and the dream finally came to life in 2005. But it didn't take long for The Krank Daddies to take their Raw Rippin' Rock n Roll show to the road! They've shared bills with numerous prominent bands, including: Motorhead, Social Distortion, Rob Zombie, Reverend Horton Heat, and many, many, many, more. You can find The Krank Daddies playing events, festivals, and myriad car shows, all over the USA. They are always ready to take their Raw Rippin' Rock 'N' Roll show to a city near you!

Hotrod Hillbillies

The Hotrod Hillbillies are an Austin, Texas-based rockabilly-country cowpunk trio founded in 2000. Known for an energetic fusion of Texas punkabilly, psychobilly, blues, and traditional country, the band features lead singer and guitarist Xavier Ortiz, who also hosts Texabilly Radio.

Jolie and the Jackalopes

Jolie & The Jackalopes is a freewheeling, high-spirited cosmic country band, rooted in the groove-rich tradition of Austin’s outlaw era and the poetic lineage of cosmic country. Drawing from classic country, Americana, and the expansive sounds of the Old Austin scene, the band channels a timeless, road-worn spirit with a modern sense of adventure.

Fronted by singer Jolie Goodnight, daughter of legendary producer Joe Gracey and acclaimed singer-songwriter Kimmie Rhodes, the band carries forward a deep musical heritage. Raised backstage and on the road, Goodnight grew up immersed in the world of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and the extended family of Austin’s cosmic cowboys, absorbing the songs, stories, and soul of a singular musical era..

Barnyard Stompers

Barnyard Stompers are a high-energy Outlaw Country and Southern Rock duo from South Texas, formed in 2012 by husband-and-wife team Casey Miller and Megan Wise. Known for their DIY ethos, they blend classic country with heavy blues, punk rock, and metal—a self-described "Heavy Western" sound

Rio Grand Trio

The Rio Grand Trio is a high-energy Western rockabilly and hillbilly music band based in Lubbock, Texas. Known for playing traditional slap-style upright bass and their distinct matching stage outfits, the band aims to bring the authentic sounds of the 1950s to modern audiences

Flying Crazy

Does America need a Teddyboy band? HELL YEAH IT DOES!!! What is “Teddyboy

music”?? Exactly... largely forgotten and unknown in the USA (since it’s heyday in the 70’s.)

This genre has been represented well around the world but, sadly not in the country that

invented Rock’n’Roll! Flyin' Crazy is here to change all of that and bring spirit of Teddyboy Rock 'n' Roll to life in the USA!

Flyin' Crazy thrives in the realm of Teddyboy music, weaving together elements of traditional

Country music and Rockabilly, and adding some Psychobilly energy to the mix, to create a distinct but classic sound they label “Texas Teddyboy Rock’n’Roll.” The bands name clearly shows inspiration from the legendary Ted bands of the 70’s such as Crazy Cavan and the

Flying Saucers. Every performance is a celebration of nostalgia and rebellion and they make a point to bring classic Teddyboy anthems to the stage for those who never had a chance to experience them before.
